    Hi, the way I understand it, when traction is lost at the front wheels the power moves to the rear ones more quickly, thus increasing traction more for launching and also spirited driving

    Short Feedback: Increased traction coding works fine in my Octavia 4x4. I think there is actually a little more traction on wet roads. Thanks again.

    I have modified my all wheel drive using the VCDS.
    Car: Skoda Superb Combi 2.0 TSI MY 2017 with 370HP

    original status was: "normal"
    now I have setted it to "increased traction"

    My first impression is that my car has a little bit more traction when I accelerate out of corners or at turns.

    just for info:
    The expression "wiring logic" is a little bit irritating. It is caused by an incorrect translation from german "Verspannlogik" to "wiring logic". In my opinion it's meaning "tense up".
    I think the the manufacturer calls it "Akustikmassnahme" = "acoustic measure" to ensure maximum comfort. Just to reduce mechanical noise caused by the allwheel drive train, which is tensing up during hard cornering at very low speed (for example during parking).

    In my case (Superb) I did not recognize any disadvantages until today.
    First at all I expected, that the AWD will generate any noise when I am maneuvering in my undergroud carpark, but there is nothing.

    Actually I have Pirelli Sottozero 240 Series 2 tyres with a size of 235/45/18 as winter tyres. For the summer season and it's summer tyres I do not expect any changes. Cause the haldex clutch is only handling torque from the front axle towards the rear and not from left to right or crosswise.

    Map has been tweaked with the Turbo Technics V4 and is now running at 2.3 bar.

    Battery has been replaced with an even larger one (Duracell 80ah, 800amps) and the battery tray modified accordingly, tight fit!

    JB4 removed and a dedicated water meth controller installed with digital controls/boost gauge.

    Next step possibly a v5 or v6.

    Roaki: Why do´nt you use a Lithium-Battery?
    Can you show us a new dyno-run with 2,3 bar?
    v5? Do you think about the engine from Audi TTRS (it is not a v)?
    vr6 may be possible also, in GB. In Germany it is very, very difficult, because of TÜV and StVZO.
    In Germany exist very few "old" Superb (2) 3,5 vr6 with Turbo-Modifications and about 700 hp.

    Mapping still in progress, will upload a dyno when completed (maybe with a new turbo) in a couple of months.
    Tried a lithium battery. Was not powerful enough. I have too many devices working when parked.
    v5 and v6 refer to even larger hybrid turbos (bigger than my current Turbo Technics v4) that are good for over 650hp

    Quick 0-60 test today.

    Winter tyres, full weight, slight slope and plenty of wheel spin so very promising for a very low 3 seconds with proper tyres and good tarmac (under 1 seconds for 0-20mph is easily achievable with good grip)

    30-50mph in under 0.92 seconds is very fast based on my previous tests which shows that the car now has a lot of potential with the new turbo.

    I use one LiFePO4-battery since about 6 years in my cars (incl. about 3 years in a rs6v10) with no problem, even with cold start (-15°C) or long parking. The battery has 90 Ah (Pb-eq about 270Ah), about 900A starting power(5s) and it starts always better than original battery with 110Ah from Varta or Red Bull. With this battery i have (up to now) enough power in reserve.
    Roaki: Do you need more battery-power?
